Welcome to Ballito United FC (BUFC). We are a registered Non-Profit Organization (NPO) based in the heart of the North Coast community.
For us, the beautiful game has always been about more than just the final score—it is a powerful vehicle for building character, uniting families, and uplifting our youth.

Like most junior football clubs we love nothing more than having a win however this is not our primary objective. Our guiding principle is to teach and educate young players in the virtues of fair play and sportsmanship, lessons that hopefully they can apply in life as they get older. If we can convey these principles, then on field success will be a pleasant by-product of the process.
Ballito United is defined by its foundational values of community, family, inclusion, and holistic development. We operate a vibrant, safe environment where children grow simultaneously—both as talented players and as exceptional people.
2023 Results
We entered 15 teams into the SAFA Greater Durban Local Football Association League including a mixed girls team for the first time and 2 teams into the Stanger regional league this season.
The SAFA Greater Durban Local Football Association consists of over 150 Clubs and 500 teams, once again this season BUFC proved to be among the best with, 2 League Winners, 2 Second Places, 2 Third Places and 3 Cup Final Winners. In 6 competitive age groups which is once again unrivaled.
Our U15 squad started off by winning the Durban Easter tournament and finished the league with all wins, this team has won their league every year since the competitive U10 age group, that’s 5 years in a row.
The U17 team have moved through the BUFC age groups and now compete in the 4th Tier of South African League Football, the SAB league has recently started with a combined u17 and coaches team from BUFC.
2022 Results
In 2022 we entered 12 teams into the league, 10 into the SAFA Greater Durban Local Football Association and 2 into the ILembe Regional League including our first team who qualified to play in the SAB regional league.
We introduced an additional beginners U6/U7 age group for the first time in new training times on the Astro turf. This was extremely successful with the membership filling up very quickly.
BUFC registered over 250 players on MySAFA this season (the SAFA electronic database)
We have increased our coaching staff to thirteen in total and we continue to train the coaches and provide formal SAFA CAF coaching courses for their formal qualifications.
All competitive teams performed extremely well in the 2022 league and Cup Finals –
U10: 1st Place League, Runners Up Cup
U11: 1St Place League, Runners Up Cup, Juventus 5-a-side winners.
U12: 1st Place League, Quarter Finals Cup
U13A: 1st Place League, Winners Cup Final, Easter Tournament Winners, Juventus Five-a-side winners, Toti 5-a-side Winners, un-defeated and no draws in 2022.
U13B: 1st Place League, Winners Plate Final.
U15: 2nd Place League, Runners Up Cup, Juventus 5-a-side winners.
U17: 1st League, Semi Final Cup, Juventus 5-a-side winners.
U17 Stanger: 1st Place regional League, Semi Final Engen Cup.
1st Team: Winners ILembe Regional SAB League, Qualified provincial playoffs.
The club won additional 5-a-side age groups titles in various tournaments held through the year.
In 2022, BUFC had 6 players make the KZN Elite squad and 8 of our players achieved full KZN colours and represented KZN at an interprovincial level.
