Every player needs to register with SAFA if they wish to play matches in the league. BUFC falls under the GDLFA (Greater Durban Local Football Association), which is the region we play in.

Submission Deadline

🛑 YOUR CHILD WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE TO PLAY IN LEAGUE MATCHES until your GDLFA docs are submitted to GDLFA & approved. The league is very strict.
📤 Submission: Hand in docs in a plastic sleeve at training.

Who do I give the forms to?
Hand completed forms with ID photos to Coach Gareth, Daniel or Coach Thulani at training.
Form Requirements
You will require:
- 1 2026 printed & signed GDLFA Junior Registration form with 1 Colour passport sized photo glued on and stamped by your child’s school
- A copy of players certified birth certificate OR ID. This document MUST have an ID photo glued on and also stamped by the school.
- A 3rd ID photo loose and unstamped.
Correct Form Completion & Example
How to complete the GDLFA Junior Player Registration forms:
- Fill in 1 printed GDLFA Junior Registration forms (see below GDLFA Age group cut-off dates below)
- Stick the colour passport sized photos in the space provided AND get it stamped by the players school. Stamp to go slightly onto the edge of the photo and also over the form beneath. Do not stamp right over the players face.
- 1 Copy of players CERTIFIED Birth certificate (preferred) or ID (if birth certificate not available) is required with a colour passport sized photo attached in the top right hand corner of each copy. Stamp to go slightly onto the edge of the photo and also over the form beneath. Do not stamp right over the players face.
